Rhubarb Crumble


125gPlain White Flour
75gUnsalted Butter
50gDemerara Sugar


  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (170°C fan, gas mark 5).
  2. Cut the rhubarb into 5cm chunks and place in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with the sugar and 3 tbsp water.
  3. To make the crumble place the butter, flour and sugar in a mixing bowl and rub the butter into the flour with your fingertips until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Spoon onto the rhubarb and bake for 35-45 mins until golden brown.
