The Silver Spoon Company's Central Office is based at the British Sugar site at Peterborough housing nearly 100 staff comprising Sales, Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Planning, Purchasing and Supply, I.T and Human Resources. As part of Silver Spoon's commitment to innovation and quality the Peterborough site also houses a Food Centre development facility.

Bury Packaging Complex - Granulated, Caster, Icing Sugar and Speciality Sugars
Silver Spoon's Bury St Edmunds packaging complex is the company's largest packaging site and main distribution depot, servicing the South East and West of England. It also features the most modern packaging plant in Europe, responsible for producing 70 per cent of Silver Spoon's 1kg packs of granulated sugar. Designed as a high volume/low cost, highly automated operation, Bury has the capacity to produce over 4 million 1kg packets of Silver Spoon granulated sugar per week. It also features the most up-to-date equipment for the manufacture of speciality sugars.
Newark Packaging Complex - The Brown Sugar Range
Following extensive modernisation, Silver Spoon's packaging plant at Newark is now responsible for producing 80,000 tonnes of 1 and 2kg packets of Silver Spoon white granulated sugar per annum. In addition, Newark is the sole producer of Silver Spoon sachets, producing 400 tonnes per annum. The plant is also solely responsible for producing Silver Spoon's Demerara and Light and Dark Soft Brown sugars. Newark prides itself on its excellent Health and Safety record and is the first Silver Spoon plant to join The Royal Society of Health Food Hygiene Accreditation Scheme, as well as achieving the annual RoSPSA Award for Safety.
Bardney Packaging Complex - Syrups and Treat Toppings
Silver Spoon's Bardney packaging complex's current portfolio of Silver Spoon products includes golden syrup and black treacle, as well as the complete range of Askeys Treat dessert toppings.
The Askeys Treat range (formerly the Silver Spoon Treat products) of flavoured syrups was introduced in 1989, and rapidly became the market leader. It now enjoys over 30 per cent share of the market.
