We are pleased to announce that we have added a new product to the Silver Spoon range of powdered icing sugars, Fondant Icing 500g, which is perfect for creating a smoother, glossier, soft iced finish for your cakes.
Fondant Icing sugar, available in a 500g pack, is different to Icing Sugar because it includes dried glucose syrup. This gives you a smooth, glossy, soft iced finish, which is perfect for icing cupcakes, sponges or bakewell tarts.
By adding less water to the Fondant Icing Sugar you can also create modelling icing to make edible decorations, if you are feeling creative you can easily add colours and flavours too!
There are icing/water measurements for making both Fondant Icing and Modelling Icing are on the back of the packet.
